Lay your hands in mine
Heal me one last time
Though I _________ forgive you yet
No, I _________ forgive you yet
You leave my heart in debt

I should have known
I was inside you
I should have known
There was that side of you
Came without a warning
Caught me unaware

I should have known
I´ve been here before

Don´t want it anymore
One thing is for certain
I´m still standing here
I should have known

Lay your hands in mine
Feel me one last time
Though I _________ forgive you yet

To leave my heart in debt

I should have known
I should have known
_________ read the signs
_________ see the light
I should have known

2- It´s very common to people say “If I should known” or “If I knew it before” when something went wrong or not as foreseen. What do you believe has happened to the author?
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
3- Revise the modals:
Should: _________________________________________________
Would: _________________________________________________
Could: __________________________________________________
Can: _____________________________________________________
4- In the sentence “One thing is for certain as I´m standing here…” seems that the author is overcoming this problem. Is it possible to take all mistakes as lessons?
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
5- Read the sentence and answer.
“I should have known
Couldn´t read the signs”
In here seems like that we don´t see things or we don´t want to see them. Have you ever gone blind because you were insisting on something? Do you believe that the future is written or we are able to “control” it? _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
